8 roles

SARAHFemale18-56 y.o.All ethnicities

The no-nonsense Stage Manager. Fearless, witty, and always in control—or at least pretending to be. She’s the audience’s guide, popping up whenever things go off the rails. A wild card who can rescue the show or derail it further, depending on her mood.

CHAPPIEMale30-60 y.o.All ethnicities

CHAPPIE / Marley Puppet / Ghost of Christmas Present / Merchant 1: A performer who lives for spectacle. Whether wrangling the oversized Marley puppet, booming as Present, or overplaying a merchant, Chappie goes big every time. Backstage, they’re a shameless joker, often improvising in ways that leave Charlie fuming.

CHUCKMale25-35 y.o.All ethnicities

Bob Cratchit / Guest 2: Sweet and genuine, but a bundle of nerves. He plays Bob Cratchit with heart, but off-script he’s accident-prone dropping props, missing cues, and worrying he’ll ruin everything. His sincerity keeps the audience rooting for him.

CHARLATANMale40-60 y.o.All ethnicities

Jacob Marley / Christmas Yet to Come: The elder statesman of the group, but also the most unpredictable. He relishes over-the-top groaning as Marley, and his towering, silent Yet to Come is equal parts creepy and clumsy. Backstage, he delights in throwing others off balance with odd choices and wild timing.

CHADBoth genders30-60 y.o.All ethnicities

Gentleman 1 / Mr. Fezziwig: The life of the party. As Fezziwig, Chad bursts with jolly energy, leading the big dance with reckless abandon. Even in smaller roles, they crave attention, often sneaking in little flourishes or showy asides that chew the scenery.

CHASMale30-60 y.o.All ethnicities

Gentleman 2 / Mrs. Fezziwig: Chas leans into broad comedy, whether as a stuffy gentleman or an over-the-top Mrs. Fezziwig. They love milking laughs from physical humor and awkward line deliveries. Offstage, they’re a mischief-maker, often teaming up with Chad to keep things lively.

CARLYFemale25-45 y.o.All ethnicities

Mrs. Cratchit / Guest 1 / Merchant 3: Warm and grounded as Mrs. Cratchit, but hilariously frazzled in her other roles. Carly juggles costumes and quick changes with visible stress, which becomes part of the comedy. She’s the “mom friend” backstage, trying to hold everyone together while chaos reigns.

CAROLFemale18-25 y.o.All ethnicities

Belle / Lily / Martha Cratchit / Want: Youthful and full of range, Carol flips from tender romance as Belle to sweetness as Martha to eeriness as Want. She takes every role very seriously, sometimes too seriously, which makes her unintentionally funny when paired with the troupe’s chaos.
