Seth is a shallow, George Costanza-esque loser whose desperate scheme to win a girl's affection results in a historically embarrassing and permanent act of public protest. Must have excellent comedic timing and be comfortable with physical comedy and portraying pathetic vulnerability.
Molly is the charismatic and opportunistic leader of "The Cause," a fame-seeker whose affection is entirely transactional, shifting instantly to whoever is generating the most buzz. Seeking an actor who can portray vibrant charm with an underlying, ambitious edge.
Tom is Seth's sarcastic and brutally honest best friend, serving as the film's grounded voice of reason. He consistently challenges Seth's shallow and delusional schemes with a sharp, cynical wit. Despite his tough-love exterior, Tom is fundamentally a loyal friend, a fact made clear in a final, wordless act of compassion. Seeking an actor with dry wit and the ability to deliver sharp, deadpan humor.
Jacques is Seth's charismatic, confident, and handsome rival for Molly's affection. A master of performative activism, he repeatedly wins over crowds with his signature move: dramatically ripping off his shirt while shouting a passionate slogan. Must be able to perform a convincing French accent and be able to project charisma.
