The company is holding auditions for "Broadway Bound" show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Broadway Bound is the third entry in Neil Simon's Eugene trilogy, following Brighton Beach Memoirs and Biloxi Blues. In 1949, Eugene and his brother Stanley are trying to break into radio as comedy writers. Still living at home in Brighton Beach, they are also dealing with their parents' dysfunctional marriage. Eugene and Stanley get their first break with a sketch on the radio, but it upsets the family even more when they realize the characters are based on themselves and are exaggerated for laughs. Additional info: Callbacks, if needed, will be held on Wednesday, October 22 at 7:00 pm. The production will be directed by Marianne Phinney with stage management by Karen Friend. Production dates are January 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 31, February 1, 5, 6, 7, and 8, 2026. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday performances are at 7:30 pm; Sunday performances are at 2:00 pm. Rehearsals will begin immediately after casting. This is not a professional production and there is no pay for actors. When applying, please include a resume and headshot if you have them.

Kate is Eugene and Stanley's mother, married to Jack. She is tough, a devoted homemaker who is not afraid to stand up for herself. She is the caretaker of her father Ben.

Ben is Kate's father. An unrepentant radical and follower of Trotsky, his wife has moved to Florida while he stays in Brighton Beach. He is sometimes confused but cares deeply for his family. He doesn't understand his grandson's comedy.

The narrator of the play, he is the voice of the playwright. Eugene is witty and comfortable with jokes. The younger brother.

Blanche is Kate's sister, a widow who has now married a wealthy man. She argues with her father Ben and tries to convince him to move to Florida. Blanche appears in Act I only.
