About the project: Into the Breeches! is an inspirational and comedic play set in 1942, showcasing a group of determined actresses who take over the Oberon Play House to keep the theater alive as the male leads go to war. Tasked with producing Shakespeare's Henriad, they face challenges such as artistic differences and learning to portray male roles. Through their journey, these women discover their strength and resilience, illustrating the unifying power of art to uplift a community during difficult times. The play is a celebration of creativity, hope, and the indomitable spirit of women. Additional info: Production Dates: Into the Breeches! will run on February 7, 8, 13. 14, 15, 20 & 21 Additional possible dates: February 12 and 19 (hold for snow dates) Rehearsals: Rehearsals will begin in late October, and will generally fall on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with some changes made to accommodate conflicts. Please mark all your conflicts for all days, not just the days of these tentative rehearsal times. You may not be required to attend every rehearsal or be called for the entire rehearsal.
