Performers Needed for "My Fair Lady!" Show
The company is holding auditions for "My Fair Lady!" show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: A $300 travel stipend is available. Additional info: First Rehearsal: January 4, 2026. Performances: February 21-March 7, 2026. Rehearsals are generally held Sun.-Thurs. from 7:00-10:30pm, Please prepare: 32-48 bars of a traditional musical song (1-2 minutes long), showing character and range. Accompanist provided. Bring sheet music in the correct key or backing tracks, we will have a small speaker you may connect to. At the end of each hour, a short dance combo will be taught. Come prepared to move. (Vocal: Sop, A3–D6) is a spirited, determined, and independent woman from the lower class in London. Initially, she is a flower girl with a thick Cockney accent, poor speech, and little education. Eliza transforms as Professor Henry Higgins teaches her to conform to proper societal behaviors.
(Vocal: Baritone) a highly intellectual, pompous phonetics professor. He is brilliant but lacks social tact and empathy.
(Vocal: Baritone) is a genteel force in the story, providing contrast to Higgins' intellectual arrogance and often emotionally distant nature. Pickering’s role as a mentor and gentleman is central to Eliza’s development, and his feelings for Higgins, though somewhat one-sided, is marked by mutual respect and collaboration. Will double as other characters.
(Baritone) a carefree, unrefined man who initially appears to be a comic character. He is an opportunist, enjoying his life as a poor but unburdened man. Will double as other characters.
