Singers Needed for Production of "Anne of Green Gables"
The company is holding auditions for "Anne of Green Gables" The Musical and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: A few technical notes to help you with your decision-making process: Anne of Green Gables - The Musical (TM) runs from Friday, February 13, to Sunday, March 1, 2026. Tech Week is scheduled from Sunday, February 8, to Thursday, February 12, 2026. First rehearsal is Sunday, November 16th, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Rehearsals will be held three times a week, two weeknights and Sunday afternoons. Auditioners are asked to prepare two contrasting song selections. One must be from a musical. Those auditioning for the role of Anne Shirley are especially encouraged to prepare a comedic piece. Please do not sing any musical numbers from Anne of Green Gables - The Musical (TM) at your audition. There will be no accompanist. Directors encourage you to bring a karaoke or backing track that can be shared via Bluetooth. Alternatively, you may sing a cappella. Please apply if interested.

Mezzo-Soprano Loyal, agreeable and sweet, Diana is Anne's best friend, schoolmate and kindred spirit.

Baritone Matthew is a sweet, soft-spoken farmer who works the Green Gables acreage. He lives with his sister Marilla and is painfully shy toward women.
Mezzo-Soprano Rachel is outspoken and indiscreet; the town gossip. She is affectionate towards her good friend Marilla.
Mezzo-Soprano Miss Stacy is a school teacher who radiates enthusiasm and a rampant desire for learning. She is a role model and mentor for Anne.
