Woman (Queer & Womxn welcomed). Solitary and calm, Fae is an only child. Although she studies sexology, she identifies as asexual, meaning she feels no sexual desire toward others. Aside from a brief relationship in university, Fae has no interest in experiencing anything sexual with anyone. Fascinated by her field of study, her approach to sex is strictly academic, marked by a curiosity that occasionally leads her to visit the local adult cinema. Her conversation with Julia unsettles her.
Woman (Queer & Womxn welcomed). Extroverted and alluring, Julia is a polyamorous young woman who embraces life to the fullest. Aware of her charisma, she tries to show Fae that sexuality is far more nuanced than what one learns in school, and that for a Black woman, being in control of her sexuality is a political act. Convinced she is fully in charge, Julia will come to realize that her sexuality may be more centred on men's pleasure than she would like to admit.
