About the project: "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is a 1975 film adaptation of the stage musical that was released in 1973. The film has since surpassed the stage show in popularity due to its cult following. The film, starring Tim Curry, has a powerful queer presence from a time when that was not seen in the main media. The progressive nature of film, despite contributing to the "villainization of gays" trope, helped pave the way for more diverse LQBTQ culture in film and media. Additional info: Deadline is September 22nd. Audition should be a video of you lip syncing to literally anything (less than 60 seconds). The directors want to see your expressions and acting.
