"Express Entry" Upcoming Movie Audition

About the project: Kalyan and his 8 months pregnant wife Renuka migrate to Canada from a small town in southern India in search of a better life, but what makes them quit half way and go back to their country even when people around them are flourishing. Is it the system that is broken or there’s a dent in the mindset itself? Rate: Volunteer. Additional information: Shortlisted candidates will be called for further auditions online, they will be given a scene in advance to perform for the audition. This is a passion project and a no budget film hence looking for volunteer actors who are highly passionate about their craft and will be able to commit to the entire project since they are also the lead characters in the film. This project is also a good opportunity for someone who is looking to build a portfolio as an actor. Kalyan's mom is a typical house wife from a small town in MP India. She is kind of bossy with her daughter in law Renuka and never misses a chance to take a dig at her. She also has this pride that she's a mother of a son and considers herself to be superior to Renuka and her family. She is very nice to her son and loves him a lot but there is no space for Renuka in that.
Kalyan's dad is a retired man who worked all his life in a private company. He is nice to both Kalyan and Renuka and is often dousing fires caused by his wife. Sometimes chooses wrong words to say something which might be very hurtful to someone but its totally unintentional.
Renuka's mom is very nice and supportive towards Renuka, she is a pillar of strength to Renuka, although sometimes she gets very emotional that her daughter has migrated to a different country but its coming out of love and in good spirit.
(Renuka's brother) Praveen is a pillar of strength to Renuka, he is the one who takes care of the mother when his father passes away. He is a responsible brother who takes care of the elderly parents and also stands like a rock with Renuka when she goes through a tough period. He has a calm head over his shoulders and handles pressure very well. Great leadership qualities.
