About the project: The Waiting Room is a contained, character-driven short film exploring themes of guilt, redemption, and the unknown. With minimal set design and a strong emphasis on dialogue and performance, the film is designed to challenge its cast with emotionally layered roles and give the crew opportunities to create atmosphere through lighting, sound design, and subtle camera work. Whitney is in school for her master's degree in PR. She is a hard-working woman who desires to build a beautiful life for herself.
Tasha is a mother and she takes her role as a mother very seriously. She works hard for her children as a Surgical nurse in the hospital downtown.
Tony is a mechanic with a southern vibe, this is something he's been doing for 30 years. He went to trade school, in his early twenties he opened up a mechanic shop and has been running it ever since.
