"The Lynx" Student Drama Movie Seeking Cast
Casting call for "The Lynx" student drama short film. Looking for actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the roles below. About the project: Synopsis: A young woman reminisces about her memories with her younger sister, the good, the bad, and the eventual fallout. Rate: Unpaid. Additional info: Non-union. The oldest sibling and parental figure to Sam. Lila deeply cares about Sam, but she is overwhelmed by the amount of responsibility and by fulfilling the role of third parent. She protects Sam from knowing what's happening around the household and makes sure Sam gets everything she needs. Lila has many regrets and guilt for leaving Sam alone when she goes out and being herself again, but also feels free. LEAD. MUST BE ABLE TO DO EMOTIONAL SCENES WITH CO-STAR OF SAM.
The youngest sibling of Lila and looks up to her the most out of her family. Sam sees Lila as the third parent, but won't admit to showing her appreciation or love towards Lila, unless both Lila and Sam are by themselves. Sam is rambunctious and rowdy at times, as well standing her ground when something doesn't add up or defending herself. LEAD. MUST BE ABLE TO DO EMOTIONAL SCENES WITH CO-STAR OF LILA.
Has been Lila's friend for a long time, ever since they met in middle school. Diane is the life of the party, outgoing and adventurous, and treats Lila like a sister from another mother. She doesn't stand by and see those whom she loves and supports hurt or upset; she will try her best to comfort them by making or delivering food to them and being there when they need it the most.
