About the project: At Las Vegas’s hottest boxing contender event, young heavyweight Vincent Everett is pressing the attack when an anti- doping official comes ringside and announces his test is positive. It was teammate Matteo Rossi who spiked Vincent’s water between rounds. Grace Hart, the team doctor and Vincent’s girlfriend, takes the blame on the spot to protect him. Eight months later, she gives birth in prison. She tried to call Vincent, but he was intercepted by Eliza, who claims to be his fiancée, and the rift deepens. Seven years later, on the world’s biggest stage—the heavyweight title fight— six-year-old Judy escapes the orphanage, slips into the arena, and publicly points to Vincent as “Dad,” stunning the crowd. Vincent rejects her, but under pressure from his manager, Jack and his grandfather, Brad, the Old King of Boxing, he investigates. DNA quickly confirms Judy is his daughter. Because of the old misunderstanding, Vincent believes Grace had an affair with Matteo and tries to keep Judy away from her mother. Even after he brings Judy home, she keeps insisting on saving mom, pushing Vincent to post bail for Grace; out of pride and anger, he humiliates Grace and forces her to sign a custody agreement. Later, Grace starts gathering evidence of Matteo’s crimes, but she is kidnapped to be silenced. Father and daughter work together to rescue her, and the truth comes out: Grace sacrificed her name and freedom to protect Vincent’s boxing career. In the end, Vincent admits he was wrong and moves to clear her record and restore her doctor's license. On the final championship night, he wins the belt under Grace and Judy’s eyes. Faced with testing and evidence, Matteo’s last smear collapses. A six-year-old girl’s courage saves her mother—and brings her father home. Rate: All speaking day caller roles will be compensated at $144.80 CAD for an 8-hour day, with overtime at 1.5x for the next 4 hours and 2x thereafter.
