ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking actors for non-union "Latchkey" film. More details are below. About the project: Lina and Rosie have had a tumultuous childhood. They have been through the foster care system once, and when their mother finally got better, she swore they’d never go through that again. When their mother falls back into a mental health crisis, Lina faces a difficult decision: to keep Rosie safe, or protect her from the truth. As cracks form in her carefully built reality – and Rosie starts asking questions – Lina is forced to confront their reality and be honest with the one person who matters to her the most. Torn between protecting her sister and facing the truth, Lina must confront the trauma she's spent years burying. Latchkey is a raw and intimate coming-of-age story about survival, pain, and the most powerful bond of all: sisterhood. Rate: Volunteer. Michelle is the girls aunt, their mother's sister. She lives in the next town over and has a fruitful career. The last time her sister was in trouble Michelle was unable to support the girls, and instead put them into the foster care system. Lina resents Michelle for this, and still shuts her out today after many apologies and attempts to fix the damage that was done.

TraceyFemale34-38 y.o.All ethnicities

Tracey is beginning her professional career. She’s worked Lina and Rosie’s case for a few years, and knows the family well. She is very supportive and consistent, but recently Lina has been quite hesitant to accept help which makes her job much more difficult. However, Tracey is resilient. She pushes Lina to accept support even though Lina tries to force her out of their lives.
