A housewife, pregnant with twins, whose life is changing as her husband contemplates leaving her, she cares for her senile father, and her daughter has taken a vow of silence
Violet’s husband who is secretly planning to leave her.
Their daughter, whose father describes her as the most beautiful girl in the world, but not defined in a cosmetic way.
Violet’s father, who is experiencing a decline in memory.
The narrator of the play, also a character in his own right.
Fetus Two all grown up, now played by the actor who plays the Colonel.
