To make matters worse, her former high school crush, Luca, happens to be there. They catch up after Elisa’s moment of awkwardness, up until the coffee shop closes. Instead of going their separate ways, Elisa decides to spend the rest of her afternoon with Luca when he asks her to accompany him to the record store. (Lead) Bookish, introspective, sharp-witted. Elisa spent most of high school as an observer, never quite fitting in but always feeling everything deeply. Now out of school, she’s grappling with old feelings that re-emerge when she bumps into someone from her past. Elisa speaks volumes even in silence. This role requires a strong emotional range and the ability to be vulnerable.
(Lead) Charismatic, charming, and a little aloof. In high school, Luca was effortlessly likable — the guy everyone gravitated toward. But underneath his easy exterior is someone more layered, less sure of himself than he lets on. He’s not a bad guy; just a little oblivious. This role requires charm, subtle comedic timing, and emotional depth.
(Supporting) A lovable wildcard with big energy and sharp instincts. Carlos is quick with a joke and never quite knows the right thing to say, but his heart is in the right place. He works at a record store and serves as a bit of comic relief while also dropping truth bombs without realizing it. High charisma, strong comedic timing.
