Singing Opportunities in the Musical "Cry-Baby"

About the musical: This Tony nominated musical based, on the John Waters’ cult classic film features a book from the writers of Hairspray and score by the co-founder of Fountains of Wayne. It’s 1954 in Baltimore. Wade “Cry-Baby” Walker is the coolest boy in town. He’s a bad boy with a good cause – truth, justice, and the pursuit of rock and roll. Rate: CAEA members will be engaged under the “Artist Collective Policy (ACP)”. Additional information: Running from March 14-22. The first round of auditions will take place via video submission. Actors are asked to send a YouTube link that shows 32 bars of an accompanied contemporary musical theatre song (comedic preferred). Please let them know if you play an instrument, and demonstrate in your video if you are able. Additionally, please take 1-2 minutes to talk about something that is meaningful to you, whether that’s world events, your pet, a hobby – anything you’re passionate about.
