About the project: “BEYOND THE GATES” is a new soap opera set in a leafy Maryland suburb just outside of Washington, D.C., and in one of the most affluent African American counties in the United States. Here you’ll find a posh gated community with winding tree-lined streets and luxurious mansions to call home. At the center of this community are the Dupree’s, a powerful and prestigious multi-generational family that is the very definition of Black royalty. Rate: Determined by the role you are booked for (discussed upon booking) Payment is issued by check within 2 weeks of filming, processed through the digital Extras Payroll Platform, EVERYSET. Additional info: Filming will be in Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas beginning November 2025. Production is seeking people local to the Atlanta, GA area to play various extra roles in the series. ALL ethnicities, ages, genders, and sizes are encouraged to apply. All extra work and fittings are paid. Local hire only, no travel or housing provided. Filming will generally take place Monday–Friday and is often a 12+ hour commitment for each day of work.
