Stoic, measured, and pragmatic. A small-town sheriff with a calm exterior, but carrying the weight of responsibility for his community. He's seen tragedy before, but the brutality of the recent case shakes him. Accent: American (small-town, not exaggerated)
(Antagonist / Killer) Charismatic, unsettling, with a disarming charm that quickly shifts to menace. Must be able to switch from friendly banter to quiet, predatory intensity. Accent: British (convincingly performed)
Seen primarily at the crime scene. The role is largely non-speaking but emotionally pivotal - must be comfortable portraying a victim respectfully and remaining still for extended takes. Presence and physical control are key.
(Classroom Scene) Background and featured roles. A couple of students will have speaking lines engaging with Professor Hartman during his lecture (1-2 lines each).
Supporting law enforcement roles at the crime scene. Professional, grounded, and respectful, but visibly unsettled by the brutality of the case. They provide context, background interaction, and brief exchanges with Sheriff Miller while assisting in securing the area. Accent: American
