Theater Casting Call for "The Talking Conure" Play

About the project: "The Talking Conure" is an original work of fiction by Ayesha Mohsin. The story revolves around two women Audrey and Bina, a Caucasian woman who works at a marketing firm in the city and a South Asian woman who is a new Canadian immigrant studying fine arts in the city. The plot begins when the two women move in together to a new apartment building, the owner of the building has provided the two tenants with a unique offer. As the story unwinds, the two tenants are introduced to a web of mystery surrounding that offer, the apartment and the city. The two tenants find themselves involved in a mysterious plot introducing them to suspicious characters inside the building and outside. This scenario gives the two women an opportunity to understand each other and work as a team despite all their ethnic and cultural differences in order to untangle the mess that surrounds their lives. South Asian Man. A clever young man who takes care of business at the Resident building where Audrey and Bina live.
South Asian Man. An international student with a sense of humor, friend of Bina. He loves animals.
A serious businessman who visits Regina city when Mr. Morso (Owner of Audrey and Bina’s Residential building) asks him to, he is a problem solver.
South Asian Woman. International students, innocent and funny, she enjoys the company of her friends. Bina’s good friend.
South Asian Man. International student, troublemaker of the group. Bina’s friend.
