"Little Women" Musical Seeking Actors

About the project: Seeking talented performers to bring this classic story to life. "Lousia May Alcott’s beloved story of the adventures of the four March sisters is brought to vivid musical life in Little Women: The Broadway Musical. The Civil War is in full swing, and the March sisters— Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy dream their individual dreams and face challenges growing up." Additional info: How to prepare: Come prepared to sing 90 seconds of a song of your choice (should be in the style of the show). Be prepared for cold reads from the script. Be prepared to learn a short dance to a song from the show. Audition form will be available also at auditions. Callback date: Wednesday – October 15th at 6pm. Our story’s protagonist, Jo, is passionate, adventurous, and brave. She longs to one day be a famous writer and travel the world. Must be comfortable kissing Laurie and Prof. Bhaer. E3 - A5.
The oldest March sister that yearns for a life of great things. Must be comfortable kissing John Brooke. (Will double as Clarissa, the ingénue in Jo’s story). Bb3 - B5.
The second youngest March sister, a lover and the optimist of the family. Always encouraging her sisters to dream. (Will double as Rodrigo II, the real hero of Jo’s story; Clarissa’s long-lost sister in disguise). G3 - G5.
The loving matriarch of the March family. Courageous and strong, despite the odds she faces in life. (Will double as Hag in Jo’s story). Eb3 - Eb5.
The bright-eyed boy-next-door with considerable charm. Must be comfortable kissing Jo and Amy. (Will double as Rodrigo, the hero in Jo’s story). Bb2 - Bb4.
German Professor that exudes proper manners. A logical man that becomes intrigued by Jo. Must be comfortable kissing Jo. G2 - G4.
A formidible and over-bearing great-aunt to the March sisters. A wealthy and uptight socialite in town. (Will double as Mrs. Kirk, owner of the New York boarding house that lodges Prof. Bhaer and Jo; Warm, welcoming, and motherly). E3 - F#5.
(60+) - Laurie’s grandfather and a neighbor to the March family. A hardened hateful man that softens over the course of his friendship with Beth. (Will double as Knight in Jo’s story). C3 - D4.
Laurie’s tutor and a rather stiff man, showing close to no emotion. Must be comfortable kissing Meg. (Will double as Braxton, the villain in Jo’s story). E3 - G4.
