"It’s a Wonderful Life" Play Casting Actors
In person auditions for AEA and Non AEA local actors for "It’s a Wonderful Life". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. Rate: $732 AEA Guest Artist Tier C (potentially 1 contract available). $400-600 Non Union Principal. $350-$400 Non Union Ensemble. Additional info: Adults, please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue in the style of the show. Though this is a play, all auditioning may be asked to sing your favorite Christmas Carol acapella. Callbacks will be held the same day at the end of every group of auditioning actors and will consist of cold reads from the script. You will be told in the room if you are needed to stay for a callback and directors will be do their best to respectful of everyone’s time. Directors will also be taking video submissions from AEA and Non AEA local actors who cannot attend designated date: see the document attached. The town pharmacist. Loses his son unexpectedly.
A good humored and kind but absent-minded man.
This character is in a wheelchair. He is a very wealthy and unfeeling man. He makes life very unpleasant for the Bailey family.
Mid 20s. The love of George Bailey’s life. Good at caricature drawing. After some time away from Bedford Falls, she finds she misses being there. Smart and quick witted.
The town cab driver.
A police officer in Bedford Falls.
Mid 20s. The town flirt who is in competition with Mary for George’s attention. Never met a beauty shop she didn’t like.
A very imposing figure. Big in stature and not afraid to intimidate people.
A clerk at Bailey Building and Loan.
George Bailey’s younger brother who almost died as a child. Athletic. A wiz at research.
