Open Roles in a Dark Comedy Short "Scroll"

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking cast for "SCROLL" is a one-and-a-half page digital horro/social awareness/dark comedy short film. More details are below. About the Project: The story follows a young couple sitting on a park bench, holding hands while absorbed in their phones. There are no kisses or intimate scenes — the only physical contact is holding hands. The film relies on physicality, expressions, and atmosphere rather than dialogue. At its core, the film is a critique of how dependent, distracted, and foolish we’ve become with social media. The couple’s obsession blinds them to reality, until a supernatural force intervenes and reduces them to digital ashes, swallowed by the very scroll they cannot escape. Rate: Non-union. $50 each. Additional information: Location: Edmonton – South Side. Shoot Date: September 20/21 (afternoon). Comfortable acting without dialogue - there are no lines Strong use of expression and physicality Ability to shift from subtle comedy to fear and panic.
