About the project: This is an artistic Crazy 8’s 3-Minute Pitch Video for a short film in development, exploring friendship and memory through poetic dialogue and layered visuals. Actors’ performances will be recorded as intimate voiceover, paired with cinematic shots and abstract imagery. The tone is dreamlike, personal, and emotionally grounded. Rate: Non-Union. Unpaid. Food & crafty will be provided. Additional information: Audition Location online. Shoot/Performance Date(s) September 28th (All Day). Shoot/Performance Location(s) North Vancouver, BC. Submission Deadline September 20, 2025. Preferably Persian/Middle Eastern, but open to anyone with darker features and variation in skin tones. Comfortable with an intimate, low-profile set (the shoot is very simple and creative-focused). Searching for two performers who bring playful, expressive energy on set. This shoot is about presence, chemistry, and atmosphere, not dialogue. Think of it as bringing characters to life through movement, gestures, and feeling.
