"A Christmas Carol: Scrooge & Marley" Play in Search of Cast
Auditions for production of "A Christmas Carol: Scrooge & Marley". Actors wanted. Please see the breakdown below. About the project: Adapted from Charles Dickens’ "A Christmas Carol". Charles Dickens’ classic story of how the miserly old Ebenezer Scrooge is transformed into a charitable soul when he is visited one cold Christmas Eve by his former partner Jacob Marley and three different apparitions. Written by Charles Dickens in December 1843, this haunting ghost story teaches old Scrooge, and in turn each of us, the importance of family, charity, and friendship. Bah Humbug! Additional info: Although this is not a musical, directors are asking everyone to be prepared to sing a traditional Christmas carol. The auditions will include readings from the script and you singing your Christmas carol a cappella (without accompaniment). Directors leave open the option to double-cast (two actors sharing one role) when it seems appropriate. Performance dates: December 4, 5, 6, 7 & 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 2025.
