About the project: When Rosalind is banished from her uncle's court, she escapes to the Forest of Arden with her cousin Celia and the court fool Touchstone. In this wild space beyond the reach of corrupt power, exiles and lovers alike discover new possibilities. Disguised as the young man Ganymede, Rosalind explores love and identity on her own terms, while encountering shepherds, philosophers, and fellow refugees from court life. Shakespeare's beloved comedy asks: what happens when we step outside society's rules? By letting go of societal expectations, we find the wisdom and agency to change them for the better.
