About the project: A Slater's Tale uses local historical figures and icons to examine what happens when a wealthy family finally runs out of money, exploring the effects of wealth on those who have it, those who want it, those who don't have it and don't want it - and their friends. This dark comic work of historical fiction features colorful, detailed characters and incorporates traditional New England folk music (singing is optional for performers!) Rate: This is a non-profit, non-Equity, volunteer-based theater company. All positions within the company are unpaid, unless otherwise specified. Additional info: WHAT TO KNOW/PREPARE: - No preparation is needed. Sides will be provided for cold readings. - No reservations are needed. Arrive anytime within the audition window. - This production will incorporate traditional folk music.
