About the project: The Story Based on the famous nouel by roald dahl, charlic and the chocolate factory features an original score composed by marc shaiman with lyricsby shaiman and scott witthan, and a booh by david greig, the score also pays homage to the leslie bricusse & anthony newley score from the 1971 film with songs from the motion picture including "the candy man tue got a golden ticket", "compa loompa song" and pure imagination". The world famous willy wonha is opening the gates to his mysterious factory, but only to a lucky few. Charlic bucket and four other golden tichet winners will embark on a life changing journey through wonha's world of pure imagination including chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels and the great glass elevator, all to be revealed by wonha's army of curious compa loompas. Additional info: SHOW DATES: DECEMBER 5th & 6th, 7pm, (DECEMBER 5th School Show-9:30am) DECEMBER 7th, 2pm REQUIREMENTS: *All performers must prepare 30 secs-1 min of a song of their choice. *Performers will learn a short dance combination.
