About the project: Ross, a struggling screenwriter, faces a blank page late at night. As he begins to write, his characters come to life: Jesse, a soft-spoken drifter, and Silas, a smooth-talking villain bent on taking over a Western town. Each scene Ross writes plays out before him—until Jesse begins talking back. Their final saloon standoff reveals that the most powerful choices don’t always involve a gun. Rate: Unpaid. Additional info: The film will be shot on campus soundstages during the first two weeks of October. Exact shoot days are still being finalized, but expect 8–10 hour days during the week.
