Performers Wanted for "Shrek the Musical"
The company is holding auditions for "Shrek the Musical" and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: Callbacks: Thursday, September 4 at 6:00 PM Production Dates: November 15 & 16 November 21, 22, & 23 Tech Week: November 9–14 Attendance at all tech rehearsals is mandatory. Audition Requirements: A 32-bar cut or 1-minute song selection from a musical that shows off your range and ability. Please bring a backing track (Bluetooth speaker will be provided). Dress in or bring clothes and shoes appropriate for dancing — you will learn a short dance combination at auditions. NOTE: Those that want to be considered for Fiona and/or Pied Piper will be asked to stay for a tap audition. Please apply if interested.

Soprano (F3–G5), Strong mover, tap preferred Not your typical princess—quirky, strong-willed, and expressive.
Tenor (C3–B4), Strong mover Shrek’s fast-talking, loyal, and lovable companion.
Tenor (B2–D5), Intermediate/strong mover A tiny tyrant with a big personality and hilarious presence.
Soprano (F3–Eb5), Intermediate mover Fierce, flirtatious, and vocally powerful.
Tenor (E3–F#5), Intermediate mover Leader of the fairytale creatures. Animated and full of sass.
Soprano (B3–C#5), Basic/intermediate mover Dual role; strong character voice needed for Gingy. Note: These may be cast as separate roles.
Alto (Bb3–Bb4), Intermediate mover Bold comedic character with flair.
