About the project: BROOKE’S prank is simple: fake an affair to get a rise out of her boyfriend JASON. But when Jason flips the script with his own setup — involving bff PAIGE, a hidden crowd, and a birthday cake — the day spirals into awkward reveals, cutting insults, and a frosting-covered finale. In this battle of one-upmanship, everyone gets a surprise they weren’t ready for. Rate: Union (Non-Union may also apply). MIP. LEAD ROLE. Thrives on being the center of attention. A prankster with zero filter, she’s confident, flirty, and quick-witted– until her own game backfires spectacularly. H/M/W: Casual but flirty — fitted top (or shirt she can remove for the gag), jeans or shorts. Hair down and styled loosely. Comfortable with physical comedy and improv-style banter.
LEAD ROLE. Plays the role of the oblivious boyfriend at first, but is sharp, calculating, and knows exactly how to flip a prank on its head. Calm and collected until it’s time to drop the hammer. H/M/W: Neat casual — button-up or henley with jeans/chinos. Clean-shaven or light stubble.
LEAD ROLE. Brooke’s best friend and co-conspirator. Helpful and quick-witted, but with a secret connection to Jason that makes her loyalty questionable. H/M/W: Trendy casual, fashionable but comfortable outfit– skirt and shirt, t-shirt and jeans, mini summer dress. Hair styled, natural makeup.
LEAD ROLE. Jason and Brooke’s landscaper, pulled into Brooke’s prank under the guise of being “Alejandro.” Oblivious to the deeper drama, plays it cool through the chaos. H/M/W: Outdoor work gear (T-shirt/tank, work pants, boots). Comfortable with physical comedy and light intimacy.
LEAD ROLE. Jason’s mother. Here for the surprise party reveal, caught awkwardly in the middle of Brooke and Jason’s blow-up. H/M/W: “Party guest” casual — neat, colorful outfit.
LEAD ROLE. Jason’s father. Mostly reacts to the chaos with understated confusion. H/M/W: Simple casual — polo or button-up with jeans.
