About the project: LOGLINE: Trapped in a cycle of abuse, a woman’s fleeting hope for change is destroyed when her husband’s relapse turns their home into a place of fear. SYNOPSIS: A woman lives in the shadow of her husband’s abuse, her guarded reactions and quiet injuries revealing a long history of harm. When news of her pregnancy leads him to promise sobriety, she cautiously allows herself to hope. That hope unravels at a dinner with friends when a single drink pulls him back into old patterns.
