About the project: Storyline: A new mom trains for a 5K race with her baby while navigating postpartum depression. Rate and Union: ACTRA low budget. Additional information: Genre: Drama & Comedy. Location: Fredericton, New Brunswick. Filming dates: mid-October 2025. Deadline to apply to audition: August 27, 2025. When applying, please submit the following details: 1. SPEAKING ROLE (Height: 6'1 and above) A supportive husband with quick wit, first-time dad, tries to cheer his wife up with humor. Actor must be comfortable holding and interacting with a baby.
SPEAKING ROLE. Jules' mother who tries to help, but says things that aren't the most encouraging to a struggling new mom.
NON-SPEAKING ROLE. Athletic, fit, a skilled runner.
