Passionate Social Media Content Editor for Short Videos

Opportunity to scale into a full-time role. Additional information: Seeking a collaborative and self-sufficient individual who can manage multiple projects at once, communicate effectively, and work diligently on tight timelines. Location: Toronto (primarily remote). Key Responsibilities: Ability to turn raw footage into short-form videos (15-60 secs) that are on brand, meet the brief, and engage with audiences; Work with shot lists and briefs to dissect the editing requirements and deliver with accuracy; Sourcing/selecting trending songs and (in some cases) royalty-free music; Basic sound design and audio enhancements (noise reduction, etc); Basic text animations/motion graphics (templates will be provided); Basic color correction/grading; Meet the strict deadlines and demands of the clients. Skills and Qualifications: Strong skills in social media video editing Understanding social trends (with guidance from the team) Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom Classic, and Photoshop) and CapCut Familiarity with stock footage & music licensing platforms (Artlist, Artgrid, Audiio, etc.) Experience with project management tools Experience with Frame.io.
