Ruby's the kind of girl who dives headfirst into bad ideas with glitter in her hair and no brakes on her bike. Impulsive, radiant, and way smarter than she lets on. Lead.

Set in 90's Florida, Mark, a late teen works with Ruby as a line cook and is madly in love with her, but plays it off so no one can tell (everyone can tell). Supporting role.
Dylan, a late teens surfer dude who works at a fireworks shop, speaks in philosophical quotes and thinks holding a book is peak masculinity (and no one deny it, it, we we love Dylan). Oh, and he is with Kate, but keeps that on the down low. Supporting role.
