Casting Call – Short Film in Raleigh, NC (Late August / Early September) Independent short film shooting over one weekend in Raleigh, NC. Must have full weekend availability. Looking for two plus-size actresses, ages 25–45, comfortable with on-screen kissing and fight choreography (no nudity). The film follows a dark, suspenseful story: a girlfriend has been slowly poisoning her boyfriend, unaware that his close friend has begun to notice changes in his behavior. As suspicions grow, tensions erupt into a heated, physical confrontation. One role is the calculating, manipulative girlfriend; the other is the determined, protective friend. This project offers intense emotional scenes, close-quarters conflict, and high dramatic stakes. Applicants should be comfortable performing intimate, high-energy scenes with authenticity. Filming will be fast-paced and collaborative, with a focus on strong performances and realistic action. Pay, Meals and credit provided.
