3 roles
Lead Role: Jack is a quiet, intelligent morgue assistant with a dark obsession. Beneath his calm, controlled exterior lies a ritualistic killer inspired by Jack the Ripper. This role demands strong non-verbal acting, a cold intensity, and comfort with scenes involving fake blood, prop surgical tools, and simulated gore.
Voiceover Role Only: Rich is Jack’s supervisor — friendly, well-meaning, and a bit oblivious. His tone is casual, conversational, and fatherly, with a hint of concern beneath the humor. He leaves a voicemail that plays throughout the film, unknowingly narrating over a much darker reality. We're seeking a warm, natural-sounding voice with strong timing and emotional nuance.
Supporting, nonspeaking role: A lone woman walking home at night who becomes the target of Jack’s violent obsession. Though a brief appearance, this role is physically demanding and emotionally intense. The scene involves a struggle sequence, including simulated choking, minor stunt coordination, and interaction with fake blood.
