Talent Needed for " Two Gentlemen of Verona" Show
The company is holding auditions for William Shakespeare's Two Gentlemen of Verona show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: PREPARATION In-person auditions will be sides only. Sides will be sent out at least 7 days in advance of the audition dates. Copies will also be available at the auditions. Choose 1-2 characters that you are interested in and prepare those sides. Performances will be at the American Legion Post 3 (8 Washington St, Gloucester MA 01930) on the following dates and times. Friday, November 14th @ 7pm Saturday, November 15th @ 7pm (with the possibility of an additional 2pm matinee) Sunday, November 16th @ 2pm Thursday, November 20th @ 7pm Friday, November 21st @ 7pm Saturday, November 22nd @ 7pm (with the possibility of an additional 2pm matinee) Sunday, November 23rd @ 2pm Rehearsals will be held Monday through Thursday at the American Legion Post 3, 6:30 - 9:30pm, and will begin on September 3rd . Supposed aide to Proteus. Must love dogs.
Sylvia's protective father
Competing with Valentine for Sylvia's affection, favored by the Duke. Looking for an energetic group of 3-4 actors to play the following roles (i.e. they will be doubled according to need). Ideally able to play handheld instruments (guitar, kazoo, maracas, etc.), sing, and/or willing to dance (doesn't have to be trained or good! Just willing).
