About the project: Emily, a timid baker trapped in an abusive marriage, rediscovers her courage after meeting Mark, a wealthy CEO yearning for something real. Their connection threatens both of their toxic marriages—Mark’s to controlling Gwen, and Emily’s to manipulative Ron. As Emily gains strength, Ron spirals further into desperation.
