Diane’s daughter. Grounded, self-reliant, and emotionally weathered. Kind but guarded. She carries the weight of her childhood but still craves the connection she never got from her mom. She’s trying to break the cycle, especially now that she’s pregnant.
Represents toxicity and neglect. Loud, dismissive, and selfish. Doesn’t care about Diane or Lena. A temporary partner to Diane, more of a leech than a lover. He’s been in and out of Diane’s life. Possibly a dealer or someone who exploits Diane’s vulnerability. His role is brief but pivotal, he sets the stage for Diane’s final spiral by demeaning her in front of Lena, and serves as a symbol of the chaos in Diane’s and Lena’s life.
