Actors needed for short film "Token". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the roles below. About the project: Logline: Ai, a young aspiring chef, is given the opportunity of a lifetime. A chance to work for one of the wealthiest inventors in the world. Upon meeting him, however, things take an unexpected turn as an introductory dinner becomes a test for his most recent invention. Rate: Since this is a passion project, directors unfortunately have no budget to pay. Additional info: *As a word of warning directors do make reference to suicide. Filming dates currently are October 3-5. A day filming at a kitchen and two 8-hour days at a house/studio. If you are interested, please apply. Average/determined personality. Ai is an aspiring chef with a lifelong devotion to cooking. Although reserved, she is determined to succeed in her field, but not at the cost of those she cares for. Being family-oriented, it is easy for her to create strong emotional connections with those around her.
Average/pragmatic personality. An influential inventor steeped in tradition and control. His main focus is perfecting his most recent creation by any means necessary. Believes in “the ends justifying the means” when it comes to accomplishing his goals.
Bubbly personality. While hardworking, she doesn’t take herself too seriously. Her friendly demeanor creates a playful energy that causes consistent conflict with Emma’s way of managing the estate. Has a good relationship with Ai in which the two can confide in each other on a more personal level.
Firm personality. Kenzo’s right-hand woman in maintaining the estate. She runs things with militant efficiency and holds those beneath her to the highest standard. Singular goal is to ensure Kenzo’s approval in all things regarding the estate.
