Please come prepared with one of the following options. Option One: Two one-minute monologues that will each be performed once. The monologues should feature contrasting characters, motivations, and/or circumstances Option Two: One one-minute monologue that will be performed twice. Each performance should feature contrasting character choices, motivations, and/or circumstances. For those wishing to be considered for Charlie Brown Christmas, please also prepare 30-45 seconds of a musical theatre song in your range. "Tomas and the Library Lady Touring" Plays multiple roles including the Library Lady (a kind German woman who helps Tomas learn English), Tomas’s mother, and others. Builds an unlikely friendship with Tomas by sharing culture and language.
"Red Riding Hood" A very serious actor intent on performing a one-man version of Red Riding Hood. Comically cunning and dramatic, resistant to interruptions but reveals a softer side by the end.
"Red Riding Hood" A package delivery driver who interrupts Wolfgang’s show and insists on joining. Creates comedic tension by refusing to follow Wolfgang’s direction.
"Charlie Brown Christmas" A boy struggling with the meaning of Christmas, assigned to direct the school play by his friends.
