In Hindsight (Short film)
A British dentist in Wimbledon looks to wreak revenge on a patient he believes bludgeoned his pregnant wife into a terminal coma at a home invasion robbery. What will he do? What would you do? Casting the two leading roles in a British crime/drama proof of concept short film that is to be shot here in Los Angeles. SAG micro budget film, so it is open to union and non-union actors alike. Both roles are for BRITISH (meaning native English, Irish, Scottish or Welsh) LOCATION: El Segundo, Santa Monica and Burbank. DATES: Open to cast availability in August onwards. 6 day shoot in total. COMPENSATION: For actors looking for strong, well-shot material that will enhance their careers. Credit in the film, credit on IMDB, meals, expenses like parking and some clips of their scenes. This is a proof of concept for a British TV series, so there is the possibility that you could go on to play the same or other parts in the series, subject to the broadcast or streaming entity’s approval.

Lead. English. Caucasian. Male age 33. Educated, clean cut. Well spoken, RP or southern counties accent, or with a slight London/Cockney twang. Prefer clean shaven, but not a deal breaker if you are bearded. He is a solo dentist in Wimbledon. He is in all of the scenes except a couple of flashbacks, so 22 of the 26 pages. The character carries the film along with his counterpart, Ricky, the patient.
Lead. English Caucasian or light skinned mixed race but not black. Male aged around 24 to 30. Crew cut or bald/shaved head preferred. Broad Cockney (London) accent. Prefer 6 feet tall or taller, has tattoos (but we will use fake ones if you don’t already have them). Think of a young Jasan Stathan, Vin Diesel or Dwayne Johnson. A muscular physique would be a plus. The character carries the film along with his counterpart, Eugene, the dentist.
