Theater Audition in "A Christmas Carol" Play

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking performers for production of "A Christmas Carol". More details are below. Rate: This is a volunteer-based, unpaid, non-union production. Additional information: Location: Port Moody BC. Please note all speaking actors require both a RP British accent and a Standard American accent. Rehearsals will take place in Port Moody on Wednesdays and Fridays from 6-9 PM and Sundays from 1-4 PM beginning September 19, 2025 (no rehearsal on Thanksgiving long weekend or Halloween). All cast may not be called for all rehearsals, but it is requested that all cast are not unavailable for more than 3 scheduled rehearsals. Tech and Dress Rehearsals: November 9-13 in the evenings. All cast are required to be available for all tech and dress rehearsals. Performances: November 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st and 22nd at 7 PM, November 15th and 22nd at 2 PM. All cast are required to be available for all performances. When applying, please submit resume, head shot (or clear recent photo of yourself). Actors will be assigned an audition time-slot and adult actors will receive sides to prepare in advance. Memorization of the sides is not required. Please prepare to sing a short excerpt of a song of your choice, a Capella, or tell them a joke/do an impression. If you are unable to attend in person, please let them know in your submission as directors may be able to accept a limited number of self-tapes.
