An ethnographer caught between loyalty, power, and survival. Wren is observant, understated, and morally complex. Strong text work and ensemble focus needed. Wren is a male character, which is important to his role and story, but we are open to actors of any gender to audition.
This character is a versatile, shape-shifting presence—sinister but frequently funny—who slips between roles and voices with ease. Whether acting as an assistant, doctor, TV show host, pilot, or something else entirely, they adapt their personality to suit the situation, often unsettling or disarming those around them.
