About the project: Synopsis: Gladys Green, an elderly woman and art gallery owner in Greenwich Village, is experiencing the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease. Her family, including her daughter Ellen, son-in-law Howard, and grandson Daniel, navigate the complexities of her declining mental state and the closure of her beloved gallery. The play captures their emotional journey as they struggle to balance their love for Gladys with the practical challenges of her care and the impending loss of her gallery, a place that holds both her livelihood and her identity.
