About the project: Eight Year Tampa Police Officer Delvin White is a father of 5 is fighting for his career as one incident is calling his whole police record into question. Officer White is precisely what the community wants in a Police Officer at a time where though the country relations with law enforcement are contentious behind George Floyd. Body-cam footage captures instances of Delvin that paint him in a negative light within the police force but make him more human amongst the community. Despite being human, Delvin is overly scrutinized by a Police Chief Brain Duggin who finds himself offended having reviewed Delvin’s body cam footage. Intimate conversations with Delvin’s wife and necessary forces used in the line of duty as a school resource officer are put under a microscope as Chief Brain Duggin works toward termination. Officer White’s legal team locks horns with the Tampa Police Force to determine what terms of endearment can be used in police work. Additional info: Shooting in September. Randolph is a smooth talking senior officer who is well respected amongst the ranks. Randolph is very pro-black and serious in defending Delvin in the case.
Jerry is a straight-laced officer, very firm, fair with an objective diplomatic demeanor. Jerry is on Delvin’s side helping the conversation with questions.
Gina has a sassy personality and very sister girl attitude. The racial element of the case makes her very pro-Delvin. Gina has no problem speaking her mind.
Emma is very liberal-minded staying abreast of cultural trends. Emma is able to recognize that there is no wrong-doing in this case.
