About the project: A long-awaited reunion turns into a waking nightmare in You Shouldn’t Be Here, a chilling thriller about friendship, secrets, and survival. Five close-knit friends — Jess, Marcus, Rachel , Sam, and Chris — set off on a weekend getaway to a remote cabin deep in the woods, eager to reconnect, unwind, and relive old memories. At first, it’s laughter, campfires, and stories under the stars. But soon, strange occurrences begin to unravel the group’s sense of safety — mysterious noises in the night, strange symbols carved into trees, and a local who leaves them with a cryptic warning: “You shouldn’t be here.” As tensions rise and trust frays, the friends discover that someone — or something — is watching them. One by one, they’re hunted, forced to face not only the danger lurking outside, but the dark secrets they’ve kept from each other for years.
