Description:

"Romeo & Juliet" show is looking for singers and performers. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: In the shadows of the East Texas pines, whispers of danger echo across the land. The year is 1925, a time of clinking glass and clandestine deals, where the roar of engines on dusty backroads signals another forbidden shipment. Two families, their hatred as strong as the liquor they brew, vie for control of a Prohibition-fueled empire. By day they smile and trade in public, but by night the darkness conceals betrayals, bloodshed and secret meetings. Additional info: If auditioning for a role that includes singing, please prepare a short song selection in a country or bluegrass style Directors are also actively searching for instrumentalists to play guitar, banjo, mandolin, double bass, fiddle, and harmonica. If you are interested in being part of the band, please contact directors directly as soon as possible.
