Singing Audition for "Annie" Musical

About the project: With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations... and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Additional info: Auditioners will sing a one-minute memorized cutting of a song showcasing their vocal abilities. Please bring a karaoke or back-up track on your phone to auditions. Performers will also learn a simple dance combination with their audition group. Video auditions will be accepted. Callbacks (by invitation only) will be the evening of Thursday August 21th. Callbacks will also be held from 6:00-9:00, and feature readings from the script, as well as additional song and dance practice. The cast will be announced soon after Call Backs and rehearsals will begin the week of August 25th. Rehearsals for Ensemble will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:00.
