Synopsis: After finding a secret road trip itinerary on their terminally ill friend’s computer, two lifelong buddies do the only thing that makes sense: break him out of the hospital and hit the road before his time runs out. What follows is a wild, messy, and unexpectedly heartfelt ride across the Pacific Northwest — full of bad decisions, stunning views, and moments that are equal parts hilarious and heartbreaking. BRO’d Trip is a film about facing the end, leaning into chaos, and discovering that sometimes the best way to say goodbye is to just go. Rate: Paid (also TBD (crowdfunding in progress)). But when his friends find it, he’s thrown into the middle of his own final adventure — whether he’s ready or not. Must balance internal emotion with subtle comedic timing.
(Lead). Big energy. Bigger heart. Bernie is the kind of friend who suggests stealing a wheelchair to escape a hospital — and then actually does it. He’s unpredictable and reckless but always means well. His humor is a defense mechanism, and under all the chaos is someone terrified of losing his best friend. Strong comedic instincts with the ability to pivot to grounded emotional beats.
